I am sure many of you are aware of the term “Monday Blues”. I always wondered what exactly is Monday blues??, could it be that people get too sick for all the things that they do during the weekend that they turn blue on Monday or is that people are tired of facing a new working week that they feel “blue”. I guess many of you will definitely agree on the second option.
To be very frank, I never experienced this when I was doing my college. Only when I started working, I realized the importance of this term. Good example of “Monday blues” can be seen in office elevators on Monday mornings….. where, everyone is tense and serious about their work that they don’t even bother to greet you. I am sure many of you have lot more examples like this…..Easy ways to overcome Monday blues are to anticipate your Monday morning on Friday afternoon. Clean up your desk and leave yourself a to-do list to make Monday morning a little more tolerable. Trust me….this funda works…. because the very first thing on my to-do list after coming to the office was to write a blog …and I did that..:-)

hmm, I agree. Also how about things that get brushed under the carpet at work on Friday afternoons, with the hope that things will miraculaously disappear when you check on Mondays :)
I wish it happens like that...Arun..:-)
hmmm ..i turn blue on Monday(s) expecting a "PINK SLIP" all thru the week...and when its a Friday i turn white and happy that i have held tight to my chair all thru the week!!!
